The New York Wheel Will Draw Crowds Like a Magnet

The ride will be huge.  The views will be breathtaking and spectacular.  The world's largest Ferris wheel is going to be built on the water's edge in the historic Saint George section of the island.  It will have 36 pods, carrying up to 40 people per pod.  This means 1,440 people can be on each ride.  Each ride on the wheel will last about 38 minutes.  That is a lot of tourists and a lot of money for the island.

This will help make Staten Island a fun place to visit, no longer just a ferry ride from Manhattan and back.  This is a positive thing as it will create jobs and promote business growth, especially in the summer.
